Personal Profile: Hi. My name is Jim Livingstone. I'm an executive coach and facilitator. I'm also the founder and Chief Learning Officer of Northpoint; an organisation that specialises in the development of leaders. I'm incredibly passionate about leadership... I believe that leadership is what separates a place of work from a place to work, and have dedicated the past decade to helping leaders make a positive difference. To be honest, this wasn't my career of choice. I fell into it by chance after failing dismally at running my first company. I made every mistake in the book, and then some. I learned the hard way, and I am very grateful for the lesson! Since then I have had the opportunity to work with leaders from a host of world-class organisations, including AT&T, Bata, Cisco, Evonik, Fairfax Media, GovTech, Grab, Arlanxeo, Jurong Port, MediaCorp, M1, Singapore Police Force, Starbucks, Starhub, Trumpf and TÜV SÜD to name but a few. Background My corporate background was in the media industry. It started at the age of 15 and spanned 20-years. During this time I launched a variety of highly successful multi-media platforms and held numerous senior management roles. I have since launched two companies and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge across a variety of industries. Born in Perth, Western Australia, I has lived and worked in various countries around the world and has called Singapore home for over 20 years. Keep on leading!
