About
Personal Profile: Throughout my career I have been an advocate of ongoing personal and professional development. I support people, and the organisations they build, to grow and thrive. I am committed to delivering sustainable change and positive impact for my clients. Prior to establishing Ivydale, I led a consulting practice within a large professional services firm for eight years, building and overseeing a profitable new portfolio of projects, building high-performance teams, breaking into new markets, and navigating two corporate mergers along the way. Working as an international development consultant for over a decade, I delivered complex technical assistance projects to create jobs and increase incomes for people who might otherwise lack economic opportunities. Most of these projects entailed building the capacity of leaders to improve organisational performance, with clients ranging from SMEs to major financial institutions, start-ups to state-owned enterprises, industry associations to government ministries. Prior to that, I spent my early career first teaching, then working as a consultant improving the quality of public service provision in the education and skills sector. My voluntary work has included supporting entrepreneurs through the Cherie Blair Foundation for Womens Mentoring Programme and serving on the Board of Governors of a deprived inner-city school, supporting its transformation from a failing to a thriving school. As part of my commitment to supporting women into leadership roles, I founded a network for professional women in the development and sustainability sectors, overseeing its growth to over 1700 members in three years. I hold an MBA from Warwick business School, an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, and a BA(Hons) in English from Trinity College Dublin. I am also a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Responsibly and sustainability, and an Institute of executive Coaching and leadership (IECL) Certified Organisational Coach. Originally from London, I live in Singapore with my husband and our two young children.
