 Interested applicants to submit nomination forms after   Q&A session.

 Nomination forms to be completed and submitted by   deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.

 Deadline for Nomination Form     Submission:

Tuesday, 14 October 2025, at 2359 hr.

Nomination Committee will conduct interviews of candidates who have filed their nomination forms.  Review candidates based on interviews.  

Only candidates who have met the following 3 criteria within established deadlines will be considered for interview:

  i) Submitted completed application of interest

  ii) Attended a Q&A session with President and/or   President-elect

iii) Submitted completed nomination form.

Board Role Requirements

 

Professional requirements

  • ICF Singapore Chapter member in good standing
  • Aligned with the Chapter Constitution and committed to upholding the values and the gold standards of the ICF
  • Have been involved in Coaching (30% of overall work) or the ICF Coaching community in any capacity actively
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively
  • Demonstrates commitment to continuously grow and develop the Chapter 
  • Committed to hold office and complete 2-year term
  • Committed to serving under an official capacity and demonstrates discipline in withholding self-promotion
  • Preferably, an ICF Credentialed Coach or has strong intention to obtain credential within the term

President Elect

 

Eligibility:

Must have served at least 1 year between 2023-2025 in any Board position at the time of the AGM

 

Main Responsibility:

Fully supports the President in all aspects of leading the Board and carrying out its initiatives.  Oversee Chapter governance throughout the election preparation process.  Raise awareness and impact of coaching through the International Coaching Week and foster membership engagement, strategic partnerships and fund development.

 

Time commitment: 

10-15 hours a week.

 

Duties include:     

  • Support awareness of ICF Global Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Plan initiatives with stakeholders
  • Develop strategic relationships with key external parties to pave the way for collaboration raising the impact and visibility of coaching
  • Represent the Chapter at regional meetings and ICF Global Leadership Forum 
  • Support and defend policies and programs adopted by the Board of Directors
  • Deputise the President in case of absence, disability, or by request to perform duties in all operational matters by staying knowledgeable about the Chapter
  • Be familiar with the policies and procedures of the local regulations, ICF Global, Chapter Constitution, Bylaws, SOPs and duties of all other Officers, Directors, and team chairpersons
  • Ensure the chapter adheres to minimum chapter standards as prescribed by ICF and local laws.
  • Lead the development, planning and implementation of the International Coaching Week to improve outcomes over prior year.  This includes committee formation, speaking faculty, sponsorship & partnership outreach, budgeting, project planning, Board  involvement and member communication. 
  • Act as coach, mentor and advisor to board members and teams
  • Initiate the Board Election and Annual General Meeting process with the Secretary and oversee the governance requirements of the Constitution, Bylaws and SOPs.
  • Facilitate the appointment of the Nomination Committee and serve on it to develop a slate of qualified board members for the following year for succession planning and talent injection.
  • Ensure Board members are briefed to update their roles and responsibilities along with Standard Operating Procedures for election & smooth transition.
  • Finalize with existing Board members on intention and interest in Board involvement for the upcoming year.
  • Work closely with the President to craft the Board organisation structure and appointment considering the chapter priorities and strategies for the new term
  • Provide Board briefing on the process, duties and progress of election.

 

Secretary

 

Main Responsibility

Keep all records, except financials, in good order. Keep minutes of all meetings and meet all requirements of the Registry of Societies. Manage all General and Board meetings and onboarding in alignment with the Constitution, Bylaws and SOPs, support a robust election process

 

Time Commitment

10-15 hours per week

 

Duties include:

  • Keep all records of ICF Singapore Chapter and be responsible for their correctness including organising in ICF shared drive and enabling access to Board members according to document sensitivity requirements
  • Manage the year’s calendar of Board meeting and retreat dates and provide advance notice to the Board.
  • Keep minutes of all Board meetings and distribute minutes to the Board promptly after each meeting
  • Assist the President in opening and facilitating the meeting agenda timeliness.
  • Manage all Annual and Extraordinary General meetings of members and ensure that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, Bylaws, SOPs or as required by the law
  • Assist the President Elect in the preparation of the Election process ensuring that requirements of the Constitution, Bylaws and SOPs are met.
  • Keep a record of all Board attendance in the Chapter Leader Training and Board members’ signed Chapter Leader and Ethics Documents
  • Organize and facilitate the Onboarding of new Board Members and Ambassadors ensuring they fully understand their Ethics and Chapter Leadership duties
  • Keep all members informed of important Chapter updates of relevance
  • Conduct the correspondence of the Chapter under the direction of the President and Board 
  • Ensure that ICF Singapore mailing address is up to date and correctly reflected in all official documents, correspondence and website
  • Maintain up to date records of the Chapter entity, Board details and other requirements promptly with the Registry of Societies via online system
  • Familiar with ICF Branding requirements
  • Perform other duties as from time to time that may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

 

 

Treasurer

 

Main Responsibility:

Manage ICF Singapore Chapter accounts and finances through impeccable accounting practices, in compliance with reporting standards and regulatory requirements for the Chapter.

 

Time commitment

10-15 hours a week.

 

Duties include:     

  • Serve as financial officer of ICF Singapore Chapter.
  • Effectively manage all funds inflow and outflow including invoicing, collection, savings, payment and disbursement of all moneys on behalf of the Chapter. 
  • Keep an account of all monetary transactions and be responsible for their accuracy.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and produce regular financial reports for the Board.
  • Prepare and present the annual budget to the Board for approval.
  • Manage budget with the Board while achieving the Chapter’s goals and initiatives. 
  • Manage Board review of financial responsibilities.
  • Ensure tax-related documents and legal forms are filed on time, such as the documents required to maintain the organization’s tax-exempt status.
  • Prepare and present Financial Reports for the Annual General Meeting and answer members’ questions.
  • Review the annual audit and answer Board members’ questions.
  • Work with Secretary to update Registry of Society's website and submit Audited Financial Reports timely.
  • Prepare a resolution to update the bank on the new signatories.
  • File financial report to ICF headquarters.

 

 

    Director of Credentialing and Practice

     

    Main Responsibility:

    Strategise, plan and implement opportunities for learning and growth for ICF Singapore Chapter members, to deepen their craft of coaching and advancing in their professional coaching careers. These are achieved through two main pillars: Credentialing for advancement; and Communities of Practice for learning. 

     

    Time commitment

    10-15 hours a week.

    i) Credentialing
    Provide opportunities for members to enhance their coaching competencies based on ICF standards and offer support in coach credentialing advancement.

    Duties include:     

    • Possess good knowledge and clear understanding of the different requirements for ICF ACC, PCC and MCC credentials.
    • Stay up-to-date with ICF Global on evolving credentialing requirements.
    • Assess the impact of the new/changed requirements on Chapter members. 
    • Identify the needs of Chapter members in their next credential and/or renewal.
    • Plan and host a calendar of learning events to meet members’ needs.
    • Identify and recruit credible partners and subject-matter experts to share related knowledge at scheduled events.

    ii) Communities of Practice
    Create a learning ecosystem of peer support among members in their growth and development journey, through a “by-the-members, for-the-members” approach.

    Duties include:  

    • Identify learning and developmental needs & interests of members in their professional growth and mastery journey.
    • Plan a series of learning opportunities via Communities of Practice (CP) to meet the diverse developmental areas of a professional coach. 
    • Identify and recruit subject matter experts and members to lead the CPs. 
    • Work closely with CP leads providing strategic, tactical and operational support to ensure alignment of learning goals to the events.
    • Provide collaborative opportunities among CP leads in possible joint learning opportunities for the members. 
    • Conduct regular reviews with CP leads and brainstorm new ideas to support members.
    • Host CP meetings to welcome participants and show support from the Board. 

    For all events:

    • Effective event management through the following:
      • Coordinate CCEUs for each event;
      • Get participants’ feedback on the effectiveness of the events on their learning;
      • Ensure publicity before and after the events to generate interest for the sessions;
      • Prepare and present regular impact reports to Board. 
    • Build, train and motivate a team of Ambassadors to support the events and initiatives effectively.

     

    Director of Marketing and Communications

     

    Main Responsibility

    Manage Strategic Public Relations, Marketing, Publication, and Advertising matters of the ICF Singapore Chapter. Position and reinforce ICF and its credentialed coaches as the gold standard in professional coaching, ensuring that the Chapter’s messaging is aligned with ICF Global branding and effectively communicated across all platforms.

     

    Time Commitment

    10-15 hours per week

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Marcom team to strategise the positioning of ICF Singapore in the Singapore context, in relation to the global ICF branding, creating aligned key messaging for different stakeholders.
    • Lead the communication of the Chapter’s image and key messages on both online and offline platforms.
    • Align the Chapter’s branding and messaging with the ICF Global standards.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to promote ICF Singapore Chapter and its key initiatives/ events.
    • Guide and support working groups, sub-committees, and ambassadors or contractors in managing Marketing activities, Communications and social media platforms. 
    • Obtain and create relevant marketing communication materials, managing the use of audio, visual, and digital assets while ensuring compliance and alignment with ICF Global brand guidelines.
    • Develop and manage editorial calendars, for timely, effective dissemination of content, including bi-weekly newsletters, ICW newsletters, EDMs, website updates, and social media posts.
    • Manage advertising activities, including newsletter ads, website ads, and email blasts.
    • Maintain positive relationship with advertisers to support the Chapter’s growth. 
    • Serve as the primary liaison for public relations, coordinating advocacy initiatives, media relations and press releases.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across various channels, communications and outreach efforts.
    • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communication activities.
    • Develop metrics and reporting processes to measure the success of marketing and communication initiatives.
    • Support fellow Board leaders and Chapter pillars in crafting communications to members through official channels when needed. 
    • Stay informed of industry and coaching trends to innovate and adapt the Chapter’s marketing and communication strategies

     

    Director of Memberships

     

    Main Responsibility

    Maintain and increase ICF Membership at the Chapter level through activities pertaining to recruitment, retention, and social engagement.

     

    Time Commitment

    10-15 hours per week

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Define strategy and establish membership goal(s) for the year.
    • Appoint Ambassadors of special initiatives and relieve any inactive Ambassadors with Board approval.
    • Manage membership retention’s digital initiatives including Email campaigns for renewal and Member testimonials for Social Media.
    • Run & supervise the outreach and induction for new joiners to our community through an Onboarding program.
    • Develop and maintain an active ongoing campaign to attain membership growth targets ie. ICF membership booth at Coaching/HR Conferences.
    • Organise and host Members-only special events, such as Networking Meetups, Q&A sessions with Employers/Industry Leaders.
    • Develop, maintain and communicate ICF Singapore Chapter member benefits to prospective and current members and partners.
    • Maintain open communication touchpoints with Members and address queries in a timely manner.
    • Perform periodic cleanups between ICF Global and Singapore Chapter records to maintain accurate membership database.
    • Perform an annual chapter needs assessment survey.
    • When needed, run Focus Groups with member segments to understand their needs; responding to the interests of the various member/coach audiences.

     

     

    Director of Strategic Partnerships 

     

    Main Responsibility:

    Lead the development of strategic and value-adding partnerships with for-profit organizations, professional and trade associations, as well as coach education providers which contribute to the growth of ICF Singapore Chapter and members. 

     

    Time commitment

    10-15 hours a week.

     

    Duties include:     

     

    • Develop win-win relationships by partnering corporates, professional and trade associations, learning institutions and coach education providers, to raise the awareness of ICF, the Singapore Chapter and coaching profession.
    • Develop initiatives with partners that provide opportunities to experience coaching and extend the impact of coaching to their stakeholders, as part of promoting the value of coaching with credentialed coaches.
    • Initiate the development of strategic partnerships that culminate in signing of documents such as MOUs and execution of agreed initiatives to align with ICF mission and vision.
    • Once partnerships are established, develop a strategic coverage model, engage in regular touch points to manage and deepen the relationship. Develop ways to effectively track and measure the growth and success of partnership efforts and how we help our members be more successful in their profession. 
    • Identify and propose to the Board for Chapter participation at major local, national, and international industry events and conferences and work towards securing these opportunities.
    • Identify collaborative opportunities with other ICF Chapters to plan and implement meaningful and positively impactful projects for members and the community.     
    • Coordinate outreach efforts to ICF-accredited coach education providers with Memberships team to promote ICF membership to their trainees. Instruments adopted may include discounted membership rates for their trainees and other innovative methods.
    • Work with Marketing and Communications team to strategically position ICF and Singapore Chapter in partner collaborations. 
    • Engage partner organizations to create new opportunities for collaboration, share resources and solutions, and implement innovative activities.
    • Publicize partnership successes via online platforms and media.
    • Build and develop a team of ambassadors to support project initiatives.
    • Lead sponsorship strategy and efforts for flagship annual conferences such as International Coaching Week. Regularly engage with and manage relationships with sponsors for sustainable partnerships.
