About
Personal Profile: Marcus has been coaching professionally for more than 20 years and has more than 30 years of business experience gleaned from living and working across Europe and Asia.
He is Managing Partner of The Works Partnership and The Coach Partnership - Asia's leading Coach Training School. The company exclusively brings the world-renowned Newfield ontological coach training methodology to Asia.
Marcus specialises in coaching senior executives and teams in leadership and interpersonal effectiveness, as well as developing coaches, both inside and outside organisations.
Marcus works extensively in the fields of leadership development and coaching with organizations throughout Asia and Europe, including Unilever (globally), PETRONAS (Malaysia) Prudential (APAC), Taishin Bank (Taiwan), Birla Group (India/Canada/USA), Wika Construction (Indonesia), Timberland (Hong Kong), Imperial Tobacco (globally), Danone (APAC) Mastercard (Global) and AXA (Singapore/APAC).
Marcus is a lead trainer on the ICF ACTP-certified Newfield Coach Training program.
Marcus started his career in Unilever UK and developed a career path that progressed through Brand Management, to Innovation & New Product Development, General Management and latterly change-management.
Graduating from Oxford University with a degree in Philosophy and Theology, Marcus is a graduate of the Newfield Network, Ontological School of Coaching and holds a PCC qualification from the ICF.
In addition he is a Master Practitioner of NLP, and holds international certifications in the fields of change-management (ACT/CAP Greenwich Group), Creative Thinking (What If) and Performance Nutrition (Precision Nutrition).
He is also a Newfield certified Health Coach.
Marcus is married to Sari Marsden, who is, herself, and ICF-certified coach (PCC). Together they published "Fit To Lead" in 2017, a book that emphasises the role of the body in peak performance and leadership.
He is also an ardent fan of Liverpool FC and the Las Vegas Raiders - both of which have taught him the importance of a healthy relationship with failure.
