About
Personal Profile: Sergio Salvador, based in Singapore, takes pride in leveraging his decades of international experience in senior management, marketing, business development and strategic alliances across multiple industries to empower companies to achieve above-market growth. His services include individual and group coaching, facilitation of strategic planning sessions, and leadership assessment and development. Sergio’s business savvy, as well as his solid background in digital, software and applications, are a major asset to his clients.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Sergio was Head of New Business and Innovation for Google, based in Tokyo. Before that, he led Mobile and Gaming at Google, based in Singapore, after serving as Head of Southeast Asia, Global Partnerships, also at Google Singapore. Among previous work, Sergio worked on technology, software, applications, digital services and hardware at Electronic Arts, Yahoo! and Nokia in locations such as Barcelona, Madrid, London, and Hong Kong. He began his career by launching a successful startup in his native Spain.
Sergio also served in the past as Vice Chair of the Innovation Committee of the Interactive Advertising Bureau, and currently serves as board director of the Avelife Foundation, a Singapore-based non-profit educational NGO that promotes green innovation.
Sergio earned a BA from the University of Zaragoza and later completed an Executive Leadership Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is also an accredited Executive Leadership Coach, and regularly lectures and speaks at universities, business schools, and industry events, sharing his extensive knowledge in technology and educating the next generation of leaders. Alongside his other activities, he is a practitioner and teacher of mindfulness for business and life. Sergio also enjoys spending his free time with his wife and two children, learning to play taiko, reading fiction and non-fiction books, running, cycling, and working out.
